The mysterious Mr. "X". Showing up now and again to help Mulder with his inquiries. But doing so with an attitude. Not above fisticuffs with Skinner, nor willing to let Mulder die in an doomed train car. Mr. "X" is a classic anti hero.

On a more practical level.
I needed some way of easily identifying not only the character, but also what role on the chess board that character is occupying. In other words, the player must have a simple way of being able to tell the knights from the bishops. Therefore, on this side, I chose those who wore suits as bishops, and those who don't, as knights.
