Some characters don't find themselves on the "dark" side of this game because they are evil, or the enemy. Many of the sleuths nemesis are natural phenomenon.

Such is the case with the Jersey Devil. Like "Flukeman" and "The Great Mutato" the Jersey Devil is an (un)natural phenomenon. But still, somebody has to be on the other side.
