In the winter of 1998 all provincial eyes were on the curling rink in Nagano Japan. We watched with bated breath as Sandra Schmirler and her team made it look easy to win an Olympic gold medal. The team arrived back in Regina to a hero's welcome. That, plus her apparent good nature, make Sandra Schmirler an ideal figure for top spot on the "Good" side.
